SPEHOA MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
MARCH 11, 2019
President Rainforth called the meeting to order. Frank McClellan was absent. All other Board members were present.
Secretary’s report
Board members were asked for any corrections on the November minutes.
Hearing no corrections a motion was made by Nancy Winograd and seconded by Jane Laughton. Motion passed. (Report on file)
Treasurer’s report
Joe Strazzere, Treasurer, who was unable to attend, had presented his report in detail, to President Rainforth and all Board members reviewed this report with no questions.
A motion to accept was made by Beth Kaplan and seconded by Nancy Winograd. Motion passed. (Report on file)
Landscaping and Maintenance reports
President Rainforth gave a detailed overview of these Committee’s with all activities from November through February. These reports are on file.
Lee Page, Maintenance chairman reported that he will be preparing a new sign giving our new address ( 4 Styles Lane) to be properly displayed outside the Community Center.
New Business
President Rainforth explained her meeting with Chalmers Insurance and the issue with the change of address and the necessity of following through with this change. All this documentation is on file. Board members have requested that for legal purposes, the Insurance document should be signed by the representative at Chalmers Insurance.
Sally Hudgins reported that the annual report to the State of Maine is being prepared, also with the change of address for Spring Pond Estates Homeowners Association. A copy of this will be filed with the March board minutes.
Jane Laughton reported that there have been problems with our mailboxes and that the main mail box door had been left open on occasion. There have been some ongoing problems with Mail delivery. President Rainforth will meet with the Postmaster to discuss.
