Monthly Board Meeting Minutes
October 12, 2020
PRESIDENT - President Sally LeMon called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM with Board Member Lee Page absent. All other Board Members were in attendance. President LeMon thanked the members for their participation noting no additional expenses or activities had occurred during the Month of September.
RECORDING SECRETARY - Recording Secretary El Rotsko requested the Board review her September minutes. With no revisions or corrections, Vice President Sally Hudgins made a motion to accept the minutes as written, seconded by Treasurer Joe Strazzere. Motion passed unanimously (Minutes on File for Review).
TREASURER - Treasurer Joe Strazzere reiterated that due to the recent roadway sealing project, we ended over budget for the month of September. He did however, expect us to be under budget for the month of October adding our Association remains in good shape financially. It merits noting that this good standing status is due in part by the ongoing positive and effective leadership of our officers. Motion to accept the Treasurer’s report was made by Vice President Sally Hudgins, seconded by Recording Secretary El Rotsko. Motion passed unanimously (Itemized Treasurer Report on File for Review).
BYLAWS/COVENANTS - Chairperson Sally Hudgins reported a Bylaw committee meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, October 29th.
LANDSCAPING - Chairperson Sally LeMon reported that Patten Landscaping will continue to mow until our final clean up. She also noted Proscape will be closing down our irrigation system on Wednesday, October 21st between the hours of 8 AM and 12 PM and that homeowners should allow the technician accessibility to their control boxes.
WELCOMING COMMITTEE - Chairperson Pat Mirisola reported she and her committee members had recently met with our new neighbor Eula Mae “Midge” Grimes who will be making her home at 19 Ruch Lane. Hopefully the future will allow all of us at Spring Pond Estates to have the opportunity to safely welcome her to our community.
MAINTENANCE - Maintenance Committee Member Joe Strazzere reported in lieu of Chairperson Lee Page’s absence on several repairs and services that were completed during the month of September. The gutters at 8 Spring Pond Circle were sealed and withstood the heavy rains we recently experienced without issue. The Rotsko family was much appreciative to Lee and Joe for their successful efforts. The spigots located at the Community Center will be closed in order to avoid freezing. The aluminum cladding on the garage door at 19 Ruch Lane was also replaced (Detailed Maintenance Report on File).
OLD BUSINESS - President Sally LeMon submitted a letter for file from Patriot’s Insurance stating the insurance claim filed for water damage located at 17 Spring Pond Circle has been withdrawn. She also reported a written confirmation from D. F. Richard. regarding this years’ service rates has yet to be received.
NEW BUSINESS - President Sally LeMon reported she had been in contact with the Code Enforcement Officer at Town Hall about the need to periodically clear and maintain the water ditches located on Styles Lane and that the town will notify Dean Lessard, Director of Public Works of her concerns.
Motion to adjourn made by Vice President Sally Hudgins, seconded by Treasurer Joe Strazzere.
