November Board Meeting Minutes

SPRING POND ESTATES HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

November 14, 2022

President Bill Bannister called the meeting to order with all Board Members present. He asked Board Members if they wished to have regular Board Meetings all winter, and it was agreed they would.

The Minutes of the October Meeting were accepted as read.

The Treasurer’s Report was accepted as presented (Report on File for review)

President Bannister reported that work on revising the Bylaws and Covenants is currently on hold.

Landscaping Chair Jane Brown presented a contract agreement for our lawn care for the coming year with Wicked Green for the Board to approve, which they did. Wicked Green will be providing more treatments for the same price as the present company.

Long-range Planning Committee Chair Joe Strazzere reported that the initial draft results of the study provided by Criterium Engineers has been reviewed by the Board, and clarifying questions were submitted and answered. The next step is for the committee to review the proposed Study, provide final feedback to Criterium Engineers, then receive the final version of the Reserve Study. The committee will then present and discuss their conclusions with the Board and begin the process of budget planning for the next fiscal year.

Maintenance Chair Lee Page reported that he has continued doing some winterizing work in the Community Center and has scheduled D. F. Richard for their annual service. He is continuing to try find a concrete contractor to make some needed repairs to walk ways and building entrances and has purchased some patching material.

The next planned Social Event is a Holiday Pot Luck and gift exchange December 11at 6:00. A sign-up sheet is in the Community Center.

President Bannister reported that the Sunshine Club Committee is continuing to send out cards.

President Bannister read a letter from the owner of 17 Spring Circle asking for updates on the Community Center issue and requesting the Board to press for a resolution.  He told the homeowner, who was present on Face Time, that that our attorney would be happy to speak with her directly. That discussion will take place soon. And President Bannister will be persistent in pushing for a resolution.

The homeowner at 18 Spring Pond Circle asked that the Board and SPEHOA Committees not to leave any notices in the door over the winter when the owner will be away.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.

Respectfully submitted,

Anita Haskell, Recording Secretary
