Reminder of Proof of Insurance Requirement
Homeowners,
Section 2.5 of the "Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions of Spring Pond Estates" says:
Every Owner shall maintain at all times a policy or policies of insurance providing full replacement coverage against any loss or damage to the building or buildings on the Owner's Lot. Each such policy must be in a form acceptable to the Association, issued by an insurer acceptable to the Association, and must contain a provision that the policy cannot be canceled or terminated without giving written notice to the Association.
It also says:
On the anniversary date of each policy, Owners must submit to the Association proof of insurance, showing all provisions required by the Covenants of the Association.
Because of this requirement, we are asking you to please do the following now:
- Contact your insurer. Ask that they notify Spring Pond Estates HOA at 4 Styles Ln. in writing before your policy is canceled or terminated for any reason.
- Send a copy of the Declarations page of your homeowners insurance to Sally Hudgins, or drop off a copy in the black drop box outside the Community Center.
Please get these items completed by the end of August, 2020, so that we can all be in compliance with our Covenants.
