April Board Meeting Minutes

Spring Pond Estates Homeonwers Association
Monthly Board Meeting
April 8, 2019

President Rainforth, called the meeting to order. Jane Laughton and Frank
McClellan were absent. All other members present.

Secretary’s Report
Board members were asked if any corrections were noted. Motion to accept was made by Beth Kaplan and seconded by Nancy Winograd. Motion passed (report on file)

Treasurer’s Report
Report was presented to all Board members by Joe Strazzere and each member reviewed. Treasurer Strazzere has discussed the importance of reviewing the long range planning for the SPEHOA and President Rainforth agreed this is an important task to be undertaken.

Motion made by Nancy Winograd and seconded by Beth Kaplan. Motion

Landscaping Report
Chairman Rainforth presented a detailed report which is on file. All arborvitae have been trimmed. Spring clean-up was done in it’s entirety. Sand barrels removed and gas tank “stakes” removed and all reflectors also. (report on file)

Patten Landscaping will return to repair damage to lawns.

Maintenance
Lee Page has affixed the new number (4 Styles Lane) outside the Community Center, replaced some bulbs in the C C. Lee will inspect outside of homes for any damage to siding etc.

Plowing
John Patten’s men did a wonderful job this past winter with plowing, sanding etc. it has been suggested that an additional sand barrel be placed between #8-#10 Ruch Lane to control the ice buildup from the down spout. (report on file)

New Business
President Rainforth has spoken again to Chalmers Insurance to assure all the correct and legal paperwork is in order regarding the changing of the number of the association. Also see on file,
the letter that was sent to the postmaster here in York, regarding the issues we have had with some of the mailboxes No response was received. (letter on file)

Homeowners Input
Sally LeMon questioned the trimming of all trees and arbor vitae that are in the individual homeowners gardens. See Section 6.2 Covenants found under the Maintenance heading. The Board and Landscaping Committee will take under advisement
