SPEHOA MONTHLY BOARD MEETING
JUNE 14, 2021
PRESIDENT - President Bill Bannister called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM with Board Members Lee Page and Treasurer Joe Strazzere absent. All other Board Members were in attendance.
RECORDING SECRETARY - Secretary El Rotsko asked to have the May minutes reviewed. A motion was made by Vice President Milbury, seconded by President Bannister to accept the minutes as written. Minutes were approved and are on file for review.
TREASURER - President Bannister reviewed Treasurer Strazzere’s May Financial Report in his absence. A motion was made by Secretary Rotsko, seconded by President Bannister to accept the report. Treasurer’s report was approved and is on file for review.
ARCHITECTURE - Chairperson Jane Laughton presented two proposals to the Board, stating both requests have been approved by the Architecture Committee. The first proposal was from 19 Ruch Lane requesting to have a generator installed on their property. Chairperson Laughton noted there would be an added stipulation from the Architecture Committee that the homeowner be responsible for maintaining clear access to the generator during the winter season. A motion was made by Vice President Milbury, seconded by Secretary Rotsko to approve the proposal. Motion passed.
Chairperson Laughton then presented the second proposal from 17 Ruch Lane requesting an irrigation system be installed on their property. Motion was made by Vice President Milbury, seconded by Secretary Rotsko to approve said proposal. Motion passed.
BY-LAWS/COVENANTS - President Bannister reported he has had several discussions with Chairperson Sally Hudgins regarding the Committee’s recommendations. He noted the revisions will be presented to the Board for their review in the near future and that once approved, the next step would be to meet with Spring Pond Estates homeowners. Further updates to follow.
LANDSCAPING - Secretary Rotsko presented to the Board a proposal to have Patten Landscaping increase the amount of mowing during the growing season for homeowner’s who have sprinkler systems installed on their property. After some discussion, President Bannister suggested having an informal meeting and property walk-through with John Pattern so as to gain his professional input on how to properly maintain lawncare for properties with and without irrigation systems in place. He also suggested tabling any further discussion until the next Board meeting with all Board members in agreement.
A motion to adjourn was made by Vice President Milbury, seconded by Secretary Rotsko.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:10 PM.
